Demeric Choreographic Competition 2015 - DeMeric School of Dance

What a fantastic Choreographics we had on Saturday 28th February at St. Polycarp’s School.
Well done to all who took part!!!! What an array of music, styles and beautiful costumes; parents you must have been so proud and such a lovely credit to the Demeric School.

Congratulations to all our Winners; they were Lily Jerome for the solos and Danielle Young and Bethany Turk for the Duets and Groups, Joint Runners ups Lucy Johnson & Katie Seale for the solos and Ella Rogers & Loraine Antonio for the Duets. We also had some special Commendations for Olivia Rhodes & Lara Webb.
And Thank you again to our 2 lovely adjudicators Priscilla DeMeric our founder of the school and Kim Edwards who some of you may have recognised having done various Dance Workshops with us.

“I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the dancers who competed in the Choreography Competition. Each child had clearly put a lot of time and effort into every element of the performance, from choosing the music to costumes and the steps themselves.

During the competition we were treated to dances that included ‘bunnies’ ‘snow’ ‘ribbon work’ and a very jazzy ‘black cat’ .The varying styles that were shown made choosing a winner very difficult indeed.
